All Finca Perle Cotton is solid dyed, wash fast and bleach fast 2 ply 100% Egyptian mercerized long staple Perle Cotton. That means it will not bleed, fade nor bleach out. See note below for the 5 colors that are not bleach fast.

NOTE: All colors are bleach fast except for 5 colors: 1163, 1166, 3802, 3810, 3822.

SIZE 5 is equivalent to four to five (4-5) strands of floss. The 10 gram ball has approximately 45 yards of Perle Cotton.

SIZE 8 is equivalent to three (3) strands of floss. The 10 gram ball has approximately 77 yards of Perle Cotton.

SIZE 12 is equivalent to two (2) strands of floss. The 5 gram ball has approximately 58 yards of Perle Cotton, and the 10 gram ball has approximately 116 yards of Perle Cotton.

SIZE 16 is equivalent to one (1) strand of floss. The 5 gram ball has approximately 78 yards of Perle cotton, and the 10 gram ball has approximately 155 yards of Perle Cotton.
