A cloth displayed behind a sink or washstand to protect wall paper was popular pre-1900. Children in boats, rafting, fishing or wading were derived from designs intended to be used on pre-1900 splashers.

The paper pattern design measures approximately 28" x 17". The pattern was drafted from original vintage backsplash. This PDF patterns been reduced to fit on three 8 1/2” x 11” pages therefore making the design 25 1/2 x 11”.
