A cloth displayed behind a sink or washstand to protect wall paper was popular pre-1900. Children in boats, rafting, fishing or wading were derived from designs intended to be used on pre-1900 splashers.

This design measures approximately 30" x 30". The pattern was drafted from original vintage backsplash. I chose to make it look like an Italian kitchen.
