These needles have an extra long eye which makes them ideal for any kind of embroidery, especially Redwork. Experiment with which size works best for you by purchasing the sampler card and then come back to order your favorite size(s). Once you decide, these needles are packaged nestled in wool inside a matchbook.

The mixed package of needles includes two (2) needles each of sizes 7, 8, 9, 10. Each individual size needle pack contains 8 needles. The sampler pack contains one needle of each size.

My favorite needle is the size 9. I stitch with embroidery size 12 or 16 Perle cotton. I like to use the micro needle threader for the Perle cotton, available HERE. I also use the size 9 needle for binding my quilts.

Size 7 is best if you are using size 8 Perle cotton.

I also like the size 9 for binding quilts.

The size 10 embroidery needle also makes a good appliqué needle because the eye is larger..
